Hello, I'm running on Sierra 10.12.1 on MacBook PR 15inch (mid 2015) and my keyboard brightness doesn't work properly. I have selected checkbox ' Adjust keyboard brightness in low light. ' but brightness doesn't work 'automatically' and still have F5 and F6 keys control enabled. Then type in the resolution you want to change to the X part of the code and copy the code. Paste the code into the CMD and press Enter. Now open the VBox program and run the virtual machine. The display resolution of the High Sierra virtual machine is configured to 1920×1080. On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display. Press and hold the Option key while you click Scaled to see additional resolutions for the second display. Select a scaled resolution option for the second display. Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some app windows may not fit entirely on the screen. Works for macOS Sierra and High Sierra. Hi Jacobo,
It sounds like you're having some trouble with adjusting the brightness on your Mac. I want to help you get that working right.
Check out the steps here for adjusting brightness settings:
Change your Mac display’s brightness - Apple Support
If you go to System Preferences > Displays > Display. Do you have Automatically adjust brightness checked? Try adjusting the brightness and checking and unchecking that to see if that gets your brightness working as expected.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
