1) Launch Live, go to ‘Options - Preferences - File folder’ 2) Make sure the ‘Use VST Plug-in System Folders’ have turned on. 3) Please make sure the correct location is chosen on the VST Plug-in Custom Folder option. I moved something by accident, and now Ableton is stuck trying to read my mistake like it's in the program- won't let me move it back- and at this point it straight up won't open Ableton. I've tried uninstalling completely then reinstalling, but it seems it retains all the previous plugin file info.
Hoping someone has some advice. I'm getting the following message in a dialogue box, that causes the Ableton splash screen to hang after just trying to create the First opening live set:'A serious program error has occurred.
Ableton Live 10 Download
Live will shut down after this message box is closed.
Please restart live and follow the instructions in the report a crash lesson that will appear in Live's help view.'
Ableton Live 10 Won't Open On Mac
After closing down the dialogue box and trying to start Ableton again, the same thing repeatedly happens.I've also tried restarting the machine and same again.
